If you want to hear the whole pattern in your project, make the Pattern region longer. Logic Pro X is the complete manifestation of the studio and musician working as one. If the Pattern region or cell is shorter than your pattern's length in Step Sequencer, Logic Pro might not play all the steps in your Step Sequencer pattern.
